Its a rainy march morning. Leigh and I watched this before the sun came up. This space and Amy are one of a kind. There are so many layers to her jokes, her attitude and her persona. It’s almost impossible to decode.

THE ROSE + THE SHINS

I WAS SITTING AT THE ROSE EST. RECENTLY WHILE THE SHINS -CHUTES TO NARROW PLAYED OVER THEIR SPEAKERS. FOR SOME REASON THESE TWO THINGS HAVE BECOME QUINTESSENTIALLY SALT LAKE CITY FOR ME. THE DESIGN OF THE ROSE, THE LOCATION DOWNTOWN AND THAT ALBUM ARE ALL NOSTALGIC FOR ME WHEN I LIVED DOWNTOWN 15 YEARS AGO - IT'S LIKE A TIME WARP IN A GOOD WAY.
